Norquist’s Pledge trumps the oath of office!

I think America is well overdue for a witch hunt. The witch I am speaking of is Grover Norquist. Norquist started aprogram in 1985 called Americans for tax reform.  Please, don’t be deceived by the glaring patriotic sounding name.  You would think Grover was a politician, or at least a former politician, but you would be mistaken.  He is a criminal, like most people associated with our government.  In fact I have an entire list of people currently serving in our government that are also criminals.

You see, Grover came up with this ingenious plan to stop the rate in which taxes are raised.  It was the “tax payer protection pledge”.   OMG here is another one of these overwhelmingly patriotic sounding titles.   Please, once again, don’t be fooled by this propaganda.  A little copy and paste and here you go.

“Taxpayer Protection Pledge

I, _____, pledge to the taxpayers of the (____

district of the) state of ______ and to the American

people that I will: ONE, oppose any and all efforts

to increase the marginal income tax rate for

individuals and business; and TWO, oppose any

net reduction or elimination of deductions and

credits, unless matched dollar for dollar by further

reducing tax rates.”

238 representative and 41 senators currently working for the American people have signed this pledge.   There is one little, tiny, piece of information you may be missing here… Grover Norquist is a lobbyist.  He works for people with a lot of money.  What does all this mean?  Norquist has found a way to bribe our congress, and senate by getting them to sign this pledge, and I am sure the return is support from Norquist infinitely rich clients.  This simple little pledge is proof that our government officials are taking bribes, and holding special office with key individuals.  This is proof that our
government is never acting in the interest of the majority.  This is proof that our system has failed.

Now let’s get to the witch hunt.  I propose every politician who has EVER signed this pledge be removed from office, and imprisoned for no less than a ten year sentence, and Norquist should get forty years for perpetrating the whole thing.  Here is a list of the politicians that are currently pledged to Lord Norquist.
